A LIFE LONG EEL'S FAN..............
SHIRLEY passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday 8th October 2006 at the age of 78yrs. She was late of The Entrance North, formerly of Parramatta and Baulkham Hills.
Shirley Emmeline was born on 18th May 1928 to Arnold and Florence (nee Mills) Askew in Parramatta. At the age of 28 she married her sweetheart Leslie or Bunny as she affectionately called him. They had two daughters Lynnette and Tanya.
SHIRLEY, Bunny and the girls loved holidaying at The Entrance and in the late 1950's decided to buy a piece of land for their future. That piece of land eventually became the foundation for their new family home, and in the mid 80's moved up to The Entrance North.
SHIRLEY loved her sport, cricket, tennis but in particular she was a life long Parramatta Eels fan.
SHIRLEY was a devoted wife to Bunny, much loved mum and mum in law to Lynn, Tanya and Greg, and adored nanna to Wayne, Luke, Trent, Taryn, Georgia and Blake. She will be sadly missed by her dear sisters Pam and Nell and by all her loving family and friends.
